These are the drafts of the tattoo I'm designing for my dad. He wants a Viking themed arm band that was traditionally giving to Vikings who achieved something. I've had little knowledge on the subject because I have visited the Martime Museum in Falmouth where they have a Viking exhibition going on at the moment,but in general I have been doing a lot of my research in books and the internet.
On the first sheet I have starter ideas towards the tattoo and you are able to see the improvement especially on the dragons head. On the second sheet I decided to adjust the dragon heads as I felt they looked too squared, so now it has a lot more definition on the chin and jaw.
On my next draft I need to perfect the centre more and make it have a more realistic character as it's rather simple at the moment. But my dad (who is getting the tattoo) says he is happy with the layout.
